Mitchell's first 6 months

It's a boy!

As most of you know Mitchell was born on June 10th. This was the original due date from our first sonogram as well as Matt's last day of the school year. As soon as he found out I was due during this time frame he kept telling me that June 10th was the best day. Lucky for him our little guy was listening and did just as his daddy said.

It was a wonderful day and we had a full room! As soon as my water broke we called everyone and just about an hour after being in the hospital our room filled with many family members!

Then just a short 21 hours later we found out we were having a beautiful baby boy.

The first 6 months went by so fast I feel like I barely blinked!

Mitchell is now sitting up on his own and trying his best to crawl. He is a gorgeous little boy and is always full of smiles. I feel very blessed to have such an easy going baby that loves people.

38 weeks and 4 Days!

pregnancy cartoon

We are 38 weeks and 4 days....so, 9 days, 11 hours and 34 minutes....Do you think we are ready.

We did our last shopping spree of needed goodies last week and even though the list will never end we are ready. I would like to feel normal and Matt would probably like his wife back, instead of the crazy women I am becoming! I would have never expected to be so uncomfortable.
But I am also, getting more excited to find out what the heck is inside of me (boy or girl). It is very easy to invision a girl since we already have so many in the family, but I really have no "special feelings," about the sex of the baby and we (well I) have no preference. Matt would like a little man, since all of his buddies already do.

Wednesday we see the Dr for our first "check" of progress. We will keep you updated, if there are any changes!

In the meantime....9 days, 11 hours, 22 minutes.....

Full - Term!

37 Weeks, finally full-term! We are getting close. Soon the Dr. will be checking for signs of labor! The baby should be a bit over 6 lbs and just working on fattening up and getting ready for it's birthday! The idea of it is kinda scary now that I can see the finish line, however, I am ready to be able to move through smaller spaces. Tonight I was helping Matt figure out how to organize the garage and I couldn't fit in-between two objects, which Matt found hilarious. As for the baby it is still very active! It's sleep time seems to be slim to none, I think he/she is going to keep me and Matt very busy.

Baby Narin's Room

We are almost there and thanks to all of you Baby Narin's room is full of fluff and spunk! The bedding looks great and all of the draws are full. Matt and I are very grateful for everything that has been given to us to bring Baby Narin into a loving and comfortable environment. Now we just have to wait and find out if there is a little Misses or Mr, so we can personalize the room.

32 Weeks! We are both counting down! Tonight we started our Childbirth classes through the local hospital. It is nice to be around other pregnant couples and learn about the birth together rather than just reading some books here and there.

As well, I grow bigger with each day and it get's more and more difficult to bend down, put on socks, get up.....etc. It is hard to imagine getting much larger but I am pretty sure I am heading there.
Copper has adopted Baby Narin's room since we finished it. I guess he and the baby can nap together ; ) Henry still doesn't seem to notice anything different, but I think he will do well. He has really calmed down (for Henry) and listens a bit more. I suppose only time will tell....53 days.....

We are 31 weeks now and the baby is about 4lbs and 17 inches long. During my last visit to the Dr. I was told the baby was as long as my full torso, so I should be expecting a lot of outward growing! Baby Narin's eyebrows and eyelashes should be done growing and lungs and digestive track are almost mature. From here on out the baby gains about a 1/2lb each week.

Every night around 10:30-11:30 there is a party in my belly. It is really fun to watch my stomach bounce around and change shape, it's a wild experience, although I don't know if my organs would agree.! Only 9 more weeks and the party is going to join us on the outside!

This is definitely me! However, we are getting some nesting done. Matt and Andy built the crib today so we have all of the furniture in the room! The more we add the more real the idea becomes. When it is finished I will post a pic of the room.

Well, we are officially in week 30! So only 11 more to go. Last week Matt and I attempted to go for the 3D pics. As suspected the baby is a bit stubborn and took 3 visits to get some good pics. Here is one that I think is the best. Hopefully you can tell what part is what.

Baby Narin

As most of you know, baby Narin is on the way soon. Today we are 28 weeks and 3 days! It is very exciting....and exhausting. Yesterday we chose the furniture and should have it on the way soon. Now we are just focusing on the name debate! We have a list and are trying to narrow it down to two that we both agree on. Tomorrow we are getting the 3D image done, so we get tos see baby Narin up close. Keep checking back to see how baby Narin (and mama Narin) are growing!
