We are getting close! It is amazing how one minute it feels like it will never come...then the next I am getting nervous about having 2 babies! The house is getting more, and more ready. The baby's room has some of Mitchell's old infant stuff up and out. Today we organized my office, which in other words is also my mind. I have had quite a bit of energy the last few days. Isn't that supposed to happen at the end?? I don't remember having any burst of energy with Mitchell, but so far this baby has been completely different. Any way I have been thinking, if the baby comes early I would like somewhere between the 16th-19th. Anything after that, I would rather and wait until the 30th. But the 16th would be awesome! It would really work with our schedules...so maybe I can persuade the baby to do that. It is only 2 weeks early, not too bad.
I go to the Dr. on Wednesday (our 3 year anniversary) and get to have the Strep B test...yuck, but at least I get to celebrate later with the hubby. Either way I love going to the Dr. To me it marks a milestone of another two weeks gone by! Plus I get to talk about the baby!
I will update if there is any interesting news.
'Till then....the countdown is going....5 weeks, 2 days....and then we are a family of 4 :) Happy New Year!! WOW! 2010 has been something to remember.

7 weeks to go!
We are 33 weeks and counting! I had my Dr. apt this morning and everything is "normal". I am really getting anxious about finding out the sex. Everyone has me convinced it is a girl. I can't even seem to imagine having a boy. I don't know if this is because I am having mother's intuition or I have just brainwashed myself to believe it's a girl. Either way the baby is about 4.5 lbs now and 19" long. The baby is also VERY active. I feel and can see much more movement this time compared to Mitchell. It is awesome to experience and I LOVE it! Last weekend some wonderful friends (Marisa and Allison) hosted a baby shower for me and it was great to spend time with great ladies and recieving some good gifts for the baby. So this weekend Matt's parents have taken Mitchell so we can "prep" the house. Once we are set I will post pics of the baby and Mitchell's new rooms!

The big day is set!
It's official! Baby Narin is scheduled to arrive on December 30th, 2010! We really wanted the 31st to be the date, given that around the holiday we thought it would be a fun birthday to have and it is also my fathers birthday. However, due to the holiday the hospital runs a "skeleton" staff and refused to schedule any births on those days. On the bright side. I was struggling with picking between two Dr.'s (Dr. Greenhaw who delivered Mitchell, or Dr. Stoddard a new woman with the practice that I really like). Now because the birth will be on the 30th I will get to have both! Dr. Greenhaw will be head Dr. while Dr. Stoddard is his assistant :) Thursday begins our single digit countdown! 9 weeks to go....yeah!

11 weeks to go!
The light is starting to shine at the end of the tunnel! Although my pregnancy is going well I am VERY ready for Mitchell's little brother or sister to arrive. I am so excited to add another little guy or gal to the mix and have someone for Mitchell to play, laugh, run and be silly with. We are loving our new neighborhood. It is nice to be walking distance from a pool, playground and some gals Mitchell's age. Mitchell is becoming such a big boy I can hardly believe it. He can say at least 10 words if not more, run, give an opinion and he is very lovable. He gives everyone kisses and hugs as well as blows kisses your way when you leave. Unfortunately we are not as organized as before and Mitchell's room is taking awhile to come together. We should be getting the crib in the mail some time this week and then we can start to decorate and move Mitchell to his new room! I am really looking forward to this so we can also get the baby room back to "infant" ready.
